• The event lasts the whole day Saturday, approximately from 9 am to 6 pm. There are also activities on Friday.

  • 15 talks with ideas worth spreading, 3 live performances, a gift bag, lunch, coffee, non-conference-related activities (workshops, etc.), a wonderful atmosphere and an unforgettable experience.

  • We recommend and appreciate your using public transport to come to Europa Congress Palace.

    By streetcar, stop Europa.

    By bus, L8 y L5, stop Europa.

Alternatively, Vitoria-Gasteiz has a wonderful network of bike paths, so bicycles are a great option, too. There are several bike rental companies operating in the city (ask at your hotel).

  • Revenue from ticket sales is intended exclusively for the production of the TEDxVitoriaGasteiz. None of the organizers, volunteers, or speakers get paid by TEDx. This is stricly altruistic work.

  • TEDxVitoriaGasteiz is an independent TEDx event, operated under license from TED.

TEDx (x=independently organized TED event) was created in the spirit of TED’s mission, “ideas worth spreading”. The program is designed to give communities, organizations and individuals the opportunity to create TED-like experiences locally through their own events.

TED (Technology, Entertainment & Design) is an annual conference held in Vancouver, Canada, which brings together the brightest minds of our generation to share their ideas with a curated audience of open-minded individuals. Based on any number of subjects, these “TED talks”, are then made available online for free, so that their ideas may spread throughout the world.

  • We are very punctual people. As such, doors will open one hour before the event to ensure the program is set to begin on time. The sooner you arrive, the sooner you will be able to enjoy a coffee, meet other participants, and grab your seat.

  • Two of the twelve talks will be in English and one in Basque but we will have simultaneous interpreting so you won’t miss a word.  We are sorry, but there will not be interpretations to Spanish.
